This front squeegee has been made to work on Viper 20” floor scrubbers like our 10.5 gallon & 16 gallon battery auto scrubbers. This gum rubber squeegee is slotted to allow dirty solution into the vacuum recovery chamber and guide the solution to the vacuum. The squeegee assembly holds both this front squeegee and the rear squeegee and will leave floors dry to the touch after the assembly moves over the scrubbed area.
Gum rubber squeegees are recommended to be used on smooth and even indoor floors. However, the gum rubber material is not recommended for use on oily floors since the squeegee will absorb the oil and start to lose its rigidity. If the squeegee is leaving streaks or not leaving the floor completely dry, it is time to either replace or rotate your squeegee blades. Each squeegee blade can be used in all four directions to greatly increase the squeegee lifespan. You can use the front side of the squeegee, then rotate, so the back side is facing forward. Then, you can flip it upside down, and use both of those surfaces. We recommend rotating your squeegees every 20 hours of scrubbing so they wear evenly.
