CleanFreak® 'Bonnet Scrub' is a powerful, concentrated encapsulation cleaner formulated for interim carpet maintenance. Its advanced technology continues working long after application—capturing dirt, soils, and residues so they can be easily removed during routine vacuuming. Instead of clinging to carpet fibers and attracting more soil, encapsulated particles are left dry, brittle, and ready to be vacuumed away.

Enhanced with enzymes, 'Bonnet Scrub' goes a step further by breaking down embedded soils and neutralizing odors even after the bonnet has left the carpet.

To use, simply mix 11 oz. of product per gallon of water, apply the solution with a pump-up sprayer, and work in small, manageable areas. Scrub with a low speed floor buffer fitted with carpet bonnets. Once the area has dried, a routine vacuuming schedule will continue the cleaning process—no extra steps required.

Safe for wool, upholstery, stain-resistant, and standard carpets, this process is designed as an interim cleaning method only. For best results, follow up with a full carpet extraction after every 2–3 encapsulation cleanings.

Directions

1. Thoroughly vacuum carpeted areas before cleaning.
2. Dilute at 11 oz. per gallon of water.
3. Pre-spray the cleaning area and allow the solution to dwell for 15 minutes. Work in small sections (about 10' x 10').
4. Soak a carpet bonnet in the diluted solution, wring it out, and attach it to the pad driver of your floor buffer.
5. Scrub the section to break apart soil bonds.
6. When the bonnet becomes saturated with soil, flip it (if double-sided) or replace with a fresh one. Repeat steps 4–5 until the area is complete.
7. Allow the carpet to dry completely.
8. Resume routine vacuuming to remove encapsulated soils.
